Apple Park partially evacuated after envelope with white powder substance was found

A part of the Apple Park campus in Cupertino was evacuated after first responders found an envelope containing a white powder substance, NBC Bay Space experiences. The Santa Clara County Fireplace Division’s incident report exhibits there was a fireplace alarm and hazmat response at Apple’s headquarters simply after midday native time.

Emergency personnel since have decided that the state of affairs is underneath management, and workers apparently have been allowed to return inside, in line with the publication. It’s unclear what the substance could have been.

Apple informed workers at Apple Park that “authorities concluded that there was no presence of hazardous supplies,” in line with an e mail obtained later within the day by The Verge. The e-mail says that operations on the campus are again to regular, and that “all sections are open.”

Apple didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark about what may be happening. After rescheduling return-to-office plans for its workers a number of occasions, Apple will begin a “phased method” to its hybrid work pilot in April.
